What is collaborative data collection?
During your Carbo journey, data collection is a crucial step in calculating your carbon footprint and is often the most complex. The collaborative data collection feature allows you to assign one or more sub-categories of data collection to one or more contributors who are specialists in the field.
The advantages:
- Time savings for the account administrator
- Greater accuracy when collecting data
- Involvement of colleagues in the carbon footprint calculation process
How to invite contributors?
Click on the last item in the menu, then on Users.
Add a user by entering their first name, work email address, and selecting their role.
A contributor has access to the categories assigned to them, while an administrator has access to all Carbo features: comprehensive data collection, analysis, communication deliverables, and reduction plan.
If you invite a contributor, select the categories to assign to them.
When you invite a user, an email is sent to the assigned person so that they can create an account on Carbo by creating a password and then fill in the category or categories.
How can I track the progress of the contributors?
Track the status of each invited user: invitation accepted, invitation sent, or invitation expired. The invitation email is valid for 3 days. If the invitation expires, you can resend it from the Users page.
Within the collection, you can track the progress of contributors.
How do I add users to my plan?
Depending on your subscription, you may be limited to 3 or 10 users (Essential or Premium subscription).
To find out how many users you have, go to the Users page. At the top of the page, you will see how many users you have already invited in relation to your tier.
If you've reached the limit, add a user to your subscription in the option's page.
